FYI: When starting out, start with a small amount of juice unless you're okay with your bowels going crazy, it will feel like you've had a laxative. You may not like doing it but you do it without much thought, it's just part of your life and it's good for you. Once you do it long enough it becomes a part of your life, second nature. It's like a lot of things we do, in the beginning it's work. I've known several people who had healthy intentions but didn't stick with it, losing interest, and eventually selling their juicer at a garage sale. If you think you want to start juicing, I would start with a cheaper juicer that does the same job only smaller (you'll have to cut the vegetables into smaller pieces) and it's not as durable as a Breville. I've had it about 3 years and I'm happy with it. Breville BJE510XL Juice Fountain Multi-Speed 900-Watt Juicer and can be purchased for around $200. The juicer I use is about the same used in the movie. Also in the future I plan to add a second juicing each day that will include only fruits. Maybe someday I'll start interchanging other vegetables. I also feel I'm more committed with just the four vegetables instead of bouncing around picking different veggies and missing days and losing interest. I believe that juicing is one of the ingredients helping to keep my health in check. I should mix it up by using different vegetables instead of the same four, but for me it keeps it simple and I think I'm getting what I need. I juice organic Spinach, Broccoli, Red Beats and Carrots. I've been juicing almost daily for the past 8 years and I'm on my 3rd juicing machine.

We show that a truck driver from Iowa can do it, too," he says. This is an interesting movie by Joe Cross on how he fasted with vegetables and fruit, ran through a juicer. He's proud of his mass appeal, and that he reaches tough cases – working-class blokes who traditionally overlook their health. It's an emotional journey and Cross is often seen tearing up. One of the movie's most inspiring scenes features a formerly juice-skeptical, unhealthy and obese American whose health transformation inspires his entire town to grow food, cook, support each other and get healthy.

What we try to do is highlight how powerful it is to be connected to others in positive ways." "The world around us is inherently unhealthy," Cross says. Refreshingly, the Fat, Sick sequel acknowledges how tough staying healthy is – and that you need help to stick with it. Once you have got to a point where you're happy and you feel ready, go back onto a balanced diet." I recommend switching to 100 per cent plant-based food taken as juice for a period of time, and your body will love you, you'll balance yourself out.

"It is a moment in time to apply a reset switch. Cross concludes that "one solution doesn't fix all", and emphasises that juice fasting is a temporary strategy, rather than a way of life. The second film holds up the Reboot regime to scrutiny, questioning its sustainability and featuring both success stories and followers who have fallen off the wagon. "I don't know of another doco that's done this." "Most films that have a follow-up are restricted to wizards or space heroes," he says.
